Agritopia is the 166-acre agrihood the Johnston family built starting in 2000 to keep their farmland working as Gilbert filled in around it. Eleven of those acres are still a real farm, and the u-pick is the most hands-on way to see it. It is also the easy answer to a 109-degree Saturday with kids who need something to do before the heat sets in.
